Naming conventions

This article describes the configurable options and recommendations for naming conventions.

We provide a range of options to assist with basic rules. If different rules or complex rules are required on your project, these can also be enforced via extensions.

User names and environments

The following diagram shows our recommendations in terms of naming conventions for environments and users, to facilitate user management throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Vendor name

The vendor name is available on the General Tab of the vendor screen.

The name of the vendor created from onboarding can be configured using the Organisation name source option available in Onboarding > General:

The following options are available:

  • None: Standard configuration, use the name as provided by Eftsure
  • Main trading name: use the company's main trading name as vendor name (Field _N1)
  • Entity name: use the registration's entity name as vendor name (Field _A4)
  • Invited company name: use the name as specified by user during invitation.

Bank account Id

The bank account id is available on the Vendor Bank accounts header section.

The unique identifier for each bank account can also be customized to match our customer rules. The value below is a prefix only that will be appended with a counter if there are duplicates.

A white rectangle with black text AI-generated content may be incorrect.

tip

Some of our customers like to prefix their bank account id with Bank, or any other hardcoded value.

Our Account number / YourAccountNum

The Our account number field is available in the vendor form, purchase order defaults tab, purchase order group.

Our solution allows basic rules:
