Improved documentation​

This article is part of our new documentation, moving away from PDF files to a searchable site with better content, easier to navigate.

Improved release notes​

This article is hopefully the first real/comprehensible release note. We heard our customers' feedback and found a better way to surface our release notes. We'll do our best to include with additional content, links, images and videos if/when necessary, which wasn't possible using PDF release notes.

API v2 / Connections​

This release contains an upgrade from using Eftsure API v1.0 using Basic Authentication to Eftsure API v2.0 using Token Bearer Authentication.

This breaking change requires the administrator to reconfigure authentication, but has no visible immediate impact on users. Once in place, the benefit for end users is that they will no longer have to configure their credentials in multiple environments.

Go to Eftsure parameters > Connection to configure new connections. Go to Eftsure parameters > Legal entities to link entities to connections. Go to Eftsure parameters > Users > User list to confirm user connections and configure new users.

User management

User management is now the administrator/key user task! Users no longer have the ability to configure their connection details.

USA rollout​

With the support of connections in place, we're now also supporting Eftsure USA datacenter, allowing for US rollouts.

Government codes​

Government codes are now stored in 2 fields rather than one to support multiple countries and configurations. A new column is introduced at the vendor / customer / legal entity level for Government code. VATNum column is now used for tax number rather than government identification number.

Our comfort pack now supports real time lookups to the following countries:

  • Australia (ABN)
  • France (Siren)
  • Hong Kong (BRN)
  • New Zealand (NZBN)
  • Singapore (UEN)
  • United States (TIN)

Our comfort pack also supports real time validation for:

  • UK (VRN)
  • EU (All countries)

Go to Eftsure parameters > GovCode to configure data providers.

Go to API Keys to register for data providers, additional API costs may apply.

New help system​

Our help section evolves from downloading PDF files to online documentation. This new online documentation, available in Eftsure workspace > Help offers an improved user interface, including:

  • search capabilities
  • fast experience
  • improved navigation
  • image zoom
  • themes
  • much more to discover

This new help section can also be added into Copilot by adding a knowledge. Then Copilot agents can answer your user's questions about Eftsure.

Comfort Pack​

  • Payee check has been improved with multiple features including bank account id, addressed (where applicable).
