Version 5.47.49.1925
Published October 2026 - See Upgrade
This release contains the following changes:
New
- Project Management:
- New Findings tab on Health check projects — status, Severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low), title, due date and the two owners, with Finding and Recommendation panes and their own evidence attachments. It is there from the day the health check is created. A new finding arrives as Medium.
- Findings are coloured by severity and sorted worst first, with open findings above closed ones. A Closed finding is left uncoloured.
- The health check methodology is now twelve steps, ending on Findings and recommendations. Onboarding forms has been dropped — that check is automatic. Health checks created before this release keep it.
- Generated documents now report findings and hypercare:
- Word — a Findings and recommendations section, one page per finding, severity coloured and the evidence listed.
- PowerPoint — new Findings slides and new Hypercare slides, so a completed project's deck reports the log as well as the plan.
- Excel — a new Findings sheet, with status and severity as coloured chips.
- A section appears only when there is something to put in it.
- The deck carries open items only — a slide has no room for a status, so a closed one would read as outstanding work. Word and Excel carry the whole list and print the status against every row.
- Generated files are named for the kind of document they are, and the names no longer change by project type or after go-live: Summary for the deck, Details for the Word document, List for the workbook and Project for the MS Project file. Each carries the date it was generated, so a weekly pack files itself in order — Summary 2026 10 08.pptx. The workbook used to be called Activities, and the deck was called Status in the status email.
- The status update email carries the deck after go-live too, so the same four files go out before and after. The attachments carry the date; the mail body names them without it.
- Dates no longer read a day ahead. The email, the Overview banner and a new project's Generated on line could show tomorrow's date when generated in the afternoon.
- Dates on the PowerPoint slides now use the project's own date format, the one Word and Excel already print with.
- An export waits for the browser's screen-share prompt for as long as it takes, so a document is never handed over with its pictures quietly missing. Refresh the page to cancel.
- A progress window reports which document is being generated.
- The activity detail tabs are hidden for a read-only user: everything under the Activities grid is for editing, and what a reader needs is on the summary panel beside the grid and on the Budget tab. Expand all and Collapse all are hidden for them too, since both write a collapse state onto every summary; folding one summary by hand still works and is not saved for anyone else.
- Three new standard styles named for what they mean rather than their colour: At risk, Blocked and External. Existing projects pick them up through Add missing styles.
- Findings is now offered under Open in Microsoft Office, and findings travel with the project export and import packages.
- The Icon column is editable on Summary activities, since the symbol heads the section in the Word, PowerPoint and Excel output.
- Upgrading: this release needs a full database synchronisation. Three data upgrades then run by themselves — none needs starting by hand.
