Features
Introduction
This sections lists the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations features, from System Administration > Workspaces > Feature Management, which impact or may be impacted by our extension.
The Feature management experience provides a workspace to view a list of features delivered in each release. You can then use the workspace to view feature documentation, and to enable or disable features.
Payee name
| Feature | Added | More infos |
|---|---|---|
| Display payee name for customer/vendor payment information | 20/01/2026 |
The payee name is displayed in customer and vendor payment journals, payment proposals, and outbound payment files. It allows the payee name to differ from the customer or vendor master data name to comply with banking requirements and ensure accurate identification of payment recipients.
Since 10.0.46, you can now display a specific Payee Name, distinct from the legal vendor/customer name. This feature is designed to resolve payment rejections caused by mismatches between the vendor name and bank account records.
Impacted processes
The bank account Eftsure Verified Payee Name will be duplicated into the new standard Payee Name field now available at the bank account level. Without changes to the Payee name, it will appear accordingly on payment journals, payment proposals and outbound payment files. The changes to support this new feature occur:
- During vendor creation after onboarding review
- During vendor synchronisation.
- For copied vendors
- For vendor creation in vendor sync
The Eftsure Verified Payee Name is non editable while the standard Dynamics 365 Payee Name is editable with appropriate permission. Any manual changes might lead to inconsistencies.
The standard Payee Name field is not monitored by default in History, but can be manually configured to do so.
Saved views
| Feature | Added | More infos |
|---|---|---|
| Saved views support for workspaces | 22/3/2022 |
This feature adds view support for workspace forms, notably the ability to save multiple workspace views and publish those views to users. With this change, when users add tiles, lists, or links to a workspace, they will also need to select the target workspaces views the content should be added to.
Impacted forms
The eftsure workspace and project management workspace will enforce the Saved Views framework in the header when enabled
